Su Teatro’s mission is to promote, produce, develop and preserve the cultural arts, heritage, and traditions of the Chicano/Latino community; to advance mutual respect for other cultures; and to establish avenues where all cultures may come together.

Su Teatro is Denver’s Chicano/Latino cultural arts center, providing theater, film, music, and poetry rooted in Chicano history and culture, while also fostering community engagement and arts education through its Cultural Arts Education Institute. Born from the Chicano Civil Rights movement, it has a national reputation for original, homegrown productions that tell the story of the Chicano/Latino community, and it offers multidisciplinary arts programs and festivals for all people in Denver.
