Jefferson Symphony Association enriches the Jefferson County community by presenting live, classical music performances in and around Golden.
Jefferson Symphony is now in its 73rd season performing in Golden. Under the baton of Music Director Dr. J. Arturo Gonzalez, this 80 member volunteer orchestra performs 5 regular season concerts, one outdoor summer concert and chamber recitals each season. Tickets are affordable and Jefferson County Public School students and Colorado School of Mines Students receive free admission to all concerts at the Mines Green Center.

JSO Holiday Concert with Denver Children’s Choir
The Denver Children's Choir will join Jefferson Symphony for the annual Holiday concert and bake sale on Sunday, December 14. Hear holiday favorites and enjoy delicious desserts baked by the musicians of the orchestra.

Egmont and Enigma Variations (feat. Daniel Gostein)
This youth focused concert features the D'Evelyn High School Orchestra performing alongside JSO musicians for the opening piece, Beethoven's Egmont Overture.
Percussionist Daniel Gostein, our 2020 Young Artist Competition winner will be performing his winning piece for Marimba and orchestra, Sugaria by French composer Eric Sammut. He will also be playing the world premier of Harchenko's Invicible Summer.
The concert concludes with Edward Elgar's Enigma Variations.
