To continually redefine the way our community experiences and engages with classical music.
Founded in 1948 by Dr. Antonia Brico (the first woman to conduct the New York Philharmonic), the Denver PhilharmonicOrchestra (DPO) is one of the city’s most enduring and forward-thinking musical institutions. Now in its 78th season, DPO continues to redefine how the greater Denvercommunities experience classical music through innovative programming, inclusive initiatives like More Than Music and Take a Stand, and deep community partnerships. From Baroque to contemporary, DPO shares the power of music with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
EVENTS (2025-26 SEASON)
Denver Philharmonic Orchestra’s 78th season finale, we set our sights beyond the stars.
Inspired by Dylan Thomas’ stirring poem, Do Not Go Gentle explores the awe, mystery, and magnitude of the cosmos through music that evokes both the vastness of space and the human spirit’s refusal to fade quietly into the night.
As we close the season, join us for a transcendent evening that looks upward—and inward—with soundscapes that shimmer, surge, and soar.
